Low are set to play the opening night of first ever Caught By The River Thames in London on 6 August. In preparation guitarist and lead vocals Alan Sparhawk has answered five questions for us.
WHO would play you in the film of your life?
WHAT are you currently working on?
Fragments. Always fragments. Hopefully some of them will become songs. I’m also working on the garden and healing from broken ribs.
WHY do you do that thing you do?
I don’t know. Maybe out of desperation. I’m looking for transcendence. It’s the only language I really know how to speak.
WHERE do you see yourself in ten years?
Either dead or playing in a reggae band every Tuesday night with my kids.
WHEN will there be a harvest for the world?
I think we have harvested enough already. We should be planting.
