Actual sisters – and actual relations of the chocolate makers – The Cadbury Sisters release, their debut EP Close on 16 June before touring in the summer. Getting into the all crunchie detail and proving she’s no flake (right, enough chocolate puns) Jessica Cadbury (right) answered five simple questions for us. Just hope she doesn’t whispa (STOP!)
WHO would play you in the film of your life?
Mary would be someone like Anna Friel because she always gets told she looks like her, and she doesn’t give it all away, she has hidden depths. Lucy would be Cameron Diaz cos she’s sporty and a bit of a flirt. And Jess would be Jennifer Anniston, as they both have good hair, good boobs and a classic dress sense.
WHAT are you currently working on?
Writing a new EP and being at peace with life. We have found it quite hard to find a way to work together without killing each other, and we’ve finally realised a few things that make it all a lot more lovely and easy… and that is basically to love each other and everyone else – cheesy but true.
WHY do you do that thing you do?
Because we want to, because we want to…
WHERE do you see yourself in ten years?
Apart from embarking on some sort of Best Of stadium world tour… We all love food, and I’m about to do a degree in Nutritional Science, so we will probably be running some sort of healthy, arty café that is decorated with Lucy’s beautiful art, makes fresh, organic and delicious food and coffee that sells Mary’s amazing baked goods.
WHEN will there be a harvest for the world?
When we open our café in ten years’ time, obviously.
