When was the last time you got into a fight?

Fighting’s not really my thing not least because I’m really, really bad at it. I have a tendency to lose. But the last time would’ve been at a family party – my family is quite, erm, boisterous and volatile. I once had a bit of a skuffle with a cousin but that was a long time ago.

When did you last accidentally eat meat?

Oh, I eat meat regularly. I was vegetarian for a while when I was younger but I started eating meat again in 2008 when I was on tour with Chuck Ragan, a Deep South manly sort of guy who thought I was faintly ridiculous not eating meat. I was quite hammered and I ate some Wendy’s chicken nuggets and that was the first meat I’d eaten in like a decade. I probably could’ve chosen a more classy first-dish-back.

When was the last time you cried?

The honest answer is a couple of days ago because I’m in the middle of some extremely trying family problems which I’m not going to go into. That’s not very punk I suppose, is it?
