American duo Twenty One Pilots release new single House Of Gold on 21 October ahead of a UK headline tour next February, so we thought he’d find out a bit more about them with our 5W interview. “Hi my name is Josh Dun,” half the band replied, “and I am glad to be answering these questions.”
WHO would play you in the film of your life?
Cameron Diaz, only if she was okay with the possibility of cutting most of her hair off (I’d be willing to throw a bigger budget for this). I feel it’d be a bigger dynamic if a female like her took a male lead like my own. Plus, I don’t know who else would wear zebra print pants as well as me.
WHAT are you currently working on?
Currently on the road with Fall Out Boy and Panic! At The Disco and playing some shows and working on trying to get people to like us, basically.
WHY do you do that thing you do?
It makes the girls happy, and by “girls”, I mean “girl”, and by “girl” I mean “woman”, and by “woman”, I mean “my mom”.
WHERE do you see yourself in ten years?
Ten years from now, I imagine myself in a room with somebody interviewing me asking “where were you ten years ago?”, and I will think back to this very moment, right now… on a couch in my dressing room listening to Fall Out Boy play some songs. After the interview ends, I’ll probably walk on stage to continue some sort of Ten Year Anniversary Tour or something like that.
WHEN will there be a harvest for the world?
I wish I knew exactly what was being asked but all I know is that it makes me hungry for some bread.
