Having established themselves as firm festival favourite last summer, Fuck Buttons are gearing up to hit the fields again this year with Athens’ Plisskën festival (6-7 June) among the dates in their diaries. To keep track of the pair’s movements we asked Benjamin John Power and Andrew Hung out five essential questions.
WHO would play you in the film of your life?
Benjamin John Power: Mr Ed the talking Horse. Although he would call the shots both on and off set, and be given complete creative control.
Andrew Hung: Brad Pitt, probably.
WHAT are you currently working on?
BP: Tour preparations perfecting the perfect loaf (of bread of course, before you get any filthy ideas).
AH: Just cleared our my studio and rearranging it. Spring time innit.
WHY do you do that thing you do?
BP: Which thing? Have you been spying on me?
AH: Because I fought fucking hard as a sperm to penetrate that egg; I’m going to cherish every motherfucking opportunity there is.
WHERE do you see yourself in ten years?
BP: I’d like to live in a hut somewhere near a lake.
AH: Dead.
WHEN will there be a harvest for the world?
BP: I’m not sure, but I did just see a woodpecker…
