Arcade Fire – Reflektor

“It’s an obvious one to start this mixtape, but this will definitely be one of the highlights of the weekend. It’s one of the most important bands of the new century, and we’re so proud to have them playing at our festival in one of the two exclusive gigs they’ll do this year in Europe. Love this track produced by James Murphy and with David Bowie collaborating.”

Tame Impala – Let It Happen

“Another one that will be remembered at this years edition. They are one of the most exciting bands at the moment, and their album was definitely one of the best last year. I can see a lot of smiling, dancing faces when they play this one.”

Hot Chip – Dancing In The Dark

“Their gig will be a massive party, closing the second stage on Thursday, as a great ending to the first night of the festival. On their last tour they used to finish with this brilliant cover of Bruce Springsteen where they mix it with LCD Soundsystem All My Friends at the end.”

Father John Misty – The Night Josh Tillman Came To Our Apartment

“He’s just a massive star on stage: the most classy, sexy, elegant, funny and rock star of all the singer songwriters at the moment. His last album is a masterpiece, and his performances are even better.”

José Gonzalez – Cycling Trivialities

“José is one of a kind. When he’s alone with his guitar on stage magic happens. I’ve chosen an old one from him, which is always one of the best moments of his setlist. So special.

Grimes – Flesh Without Blood

“Best album of 2015 by so many worldwide publications, Grimes is the pop artist of the moment. This will be her only appearance in Spain in 2016 and one of the most demanded artists to play at the festival by the crowd.”

New Order – Tutti Frutti

“I’m choosing one from their last album, which sounds like classic New Order but in 2015. I could have chosen so many tracks from them though. The remix Hot Chip made of this track is also mind-blowing. Tutti Frutti!”

Slaves – The Hunter

“This couple of guys are a bomb live. With just a small drum set and a guitar they will set the tent on fire. It’s one of the most explosive gigs I’ve ever seen, and I’m sure if you don’t know them and you go and see them at the festival you’ll became a fan immediately.”

“They are becoming the next stadium band coming from the UK. One of the best live bands at the moment getting bigger and bigger and bigger. We’re so excited to have them co-headlining one of the nights.”

Hidrogenesse – Disfraz de Tigre

“For guys from Barcelona it will be the first time they’ll play Bilbao BBK Live after more than 15 years career. Eccentric, one of the best pop writers in Spain.”

Pixies – Hey

“One of the most influential bands of all time appear for the first time in the Basque country. This is also one of the most demanded bands we had from the crowd and they will be headlining one of the nights.”

WAS – I Like You As You Are

“Local heroes from Bilbao, they will be presenting their brand new album. Formerly known as We Are Standard, WAS will deliver for sure a very special show with hints to all the basque traditional culture.”
