One of France’s biggest festivals Rock en Seine returns to Paris this summer (26-28 August). To guide us through the acts playing the event which is staged in a park just outside the French capital François Missonnier, Rock En Festival Festival’s Director. has made us a playlist of his personal picks from this year’s bill.

La Femme – Sphynx

“La Femme is surf rock! La Femme is the future of French song! A synth pop group, they sing of sexual identity, poetic intentions and bold shapes.”

Editors – Life Is A Fear
