Summer festival fixtures the Reading And Leeds Festivals return 28-30 August with Metallica and Mumford & Sons already announced as headliners. To give us a feel for the line-up booker Jon Mac has made Q a Playlist of his personal picks from the 2015 bill.

Royal Blood – Out of The Black

“Best opening riff to a rock song in about 10 years. They will own Leeds & Reading in 2015, watch out!”

Metallica – Master Of Puppets

“The title track from arguably their heaviest album and a favourite for any true Metallica fan. It’s nearly nine minutes long but it doesn’t feel like it.”

Pierce The Veil – Bulletproof Love

“From San Diego. This band’s debut at Reading And Leeds is long overdue. With an avid fan base and a great live show this song will be a set highlight.”

A firm favourite with the Leeds And Reading audience, they grew up through the Festivals. There will be new music before August but in the mean time this song is a real stand out.

Jamie T – Sheila

“With an incredible new album and a fantastic live show Jamie T is back on top. This song shows everything that is great about Jamie T – his lyrics are second to none.”
