Playlist - Parquet Courts "People we want to play gigs with this year"

Buzzing in the fuzzy, punk rock way (though there’s a fair bit of interest too) having recently released their album Light Up Gold officially in the UK, New York’s Parquet Courts are one of the bands to see at The Great Escape in Brighton (this year’s festival takes place later this week, 16-18 May) this year. Set to hit the stage tomorrow (18) at The Haunt, as the festival showcases talent, the quartet have decided to make us a Playlist along similar lines. Here’s a host of contemporaries and heroes they’d like you to see so much, they’re going share a stage with them all at some point in the next 12 months…
