The first names for this year’s Great Escape Festival have been announced this morning (27 January), with Alabama Shakes, Django Django, Slaves, Songhoy Blues among the first acts to be announced, while Q will be heading to Brighton this year too.
The new music festival takes place in a host of venues across the city 14-16 May, as the event celebrates its tenth year with more gigs than ever.
Also among the first wave of bands confirmed for the festival, rising talents including Laura Doggett, Girl Band, Tobias Jesso Jr and more have also been announced.
Q will also return to The Great Escape for 2015 having made our debut last year, and full details of a specially curated Q Stage in a new venue will be announced very soon.
