Who? Mysterious yet stylish garage rocking pair Marie and Lio Limiñana.
Why now? This track (featuring Francesca Cusimano) is on the band’s new album, the excellent Costa Blanca which is released in the UK tomorrow (18 November). In the way that only French bands seem to do, it’s a list of brilliant people – neither you, nor Woody Allen himself, will ever hear is name pronounced so brilliantly again – though we’ve struggled a bit with the title. Q asked two top French scholars (one of whom was recently invested as a Knight Of The Legion Of Honour by the French State) to translate the title, but could find no direct English comparison, offering either “Your whatever pisses me off” or the more literal “Your blasé attitude enshittens me”… if you’ve got an idea though please suggested it below.
