Why now? Here is the premiere of Baboo’s latest track which till feature on his Dennis’ EP, due out 26 Feb. “Blowing Up My Mind is a northern soul classic,” suggests Mr Black. “It was originally recorded by The Exciters. We recorded it as a B-side to Got To Hang On To You, as we namecheck The Exciters and the song in my song. For whatever reason we ended up not using it. It’s a pretty faithful rendition of the original.” Meanwhile Sweet Baboo kicks off a UK tour at The Musician in Leicester on 2 February.
