Morissette has been on a tear of releasing stunningly great records and blazing across the stage, most notably with the Foo Fighters. She sang with the group last September in Los Angeles at the tribute for Taylor Hawkins, who was her drummer before joining Dave Grohl & Co. She then joined the Foos for a cover of Sinead O'Connor's "Mandinka" this past July at the Fuji Rock Festival at Japan's Naeba Ski Resort.

While known for her ground-breaking 1995 album Jagged Little Pill (which to date has sold 60 million copies worldwide and spawned a Tony-award-winning Broadway musical), her most recent endeavors have been multi-faceted, released an ambient style/meditation album The Storm Before The Calm in 2022, collaborating with the Darkside's Dave Harrington.
