Avril Lavigne just announced a new slate of North American tour dates with support from Simple Plan, All Time Low, Royal and the Serpent and Girlfriends.
"I’ll be doing the Greatest Hits from all of my albums along with some of your favorites, perhaps some special requests? And of course all of my friends are joining me!!!" Lavigne said in an Instagram post on Jan. 22.
Tickets will be available to the general public on Friday, Jan. 26.
The trek will start in Vancouver on May 22 and end in Edmonton on Sept. 16. Presale tickets will be available starting on Wednesday, Jan. 24 at 10 a.m. local time. They'll go on sale for the general public at the same time on Friday, Jan. 26.
Touring with Simple Plan will be a throwback for the pop star, who included several pictures of herself with the band in the Instagram post.
"They toured with me on my very first tour, so its only fitting we are doing it again!" Lavigne said.
She was equally excited about performing alongside All Time Low.
"My boys!" the singer said. "We’ve been friends for a while now and have talked about trying to tour together for years, so glad we finally get to do it for real!"

Lavigne described Royal and the Serpent and Girlfriends as "two of my favorite artists that I can’t wait to bring out with me."
The singer's most recent studio album Love Sux came out in 2022. Lavigne's first three LPs – 2002's Let Go, 2004's Under My Skin and 2007's The Best Damn Thing – each made it to the No. 1 spot on the albums chart in her native Canada.
The trek will start in Vancouver on May 22 and end in Edmonton on Sept. 16.
